Video Marketing:- Adding To Your Bottom Line
As we all know the Internet happens to be an information superhighway where people exchange ideas, thoughts and words in various forms. You can find information on almost anything, in any format which is available at your finger tips. Much of this information is posted on websites and web pages as text that users can view on their computers as text pages. However, there is now a revolution going on, where video is beginning to take the lead due to the excellent quality of experience it provides the user and because it is much more appealing compared to simple text. So, how do videos actually work for online marketing strategies? The answer to this question is by – educating the viewers. People who are looking for a particular product or service will often search for information concerning the item in order to make a more educated decision on whether or not it will meet their needs. The information gained from the video does not have to produce a purchase. A large number of people browse through the Internet to uncover a solution for their existing problem or to conduct research. Online video is the most efficient and pervasive manner of imparting understanding to the viewer, thereby helping them to understand a topic. We will now delve into the many reasons that you should put together an internet video. This Fast Track Cash page has the newest type of information on the latest ways marketers are earning money on the internet.
A positive distinction enjoyed by video marketing strategies is that such pieces have the potential to gain broad, popular exposure. Video marketing pieces have frequently achieved widespread popularity simply because they were appealing to numerous viewers. That’s how strong word of mouth can be. If you create an interesting video about your product, some might post it on their Facebook page, Myspace areas, or Twitter account. Such social media sites receive massive amounts of user traffic. As the video’s popularity spreads, interest in and visitors to the product’s own sales website will soon grow. Advertisement through the use of a popular video piece provides mass dissemination at extremely low expense. Whenever someone likes your video enough to share it, they’re pretty much doing the marketing for you by sharing it with friends. There’s no better way to leverage video marketing and see long term results. Multinational companies are known for utilizing similar techniques and have crafted video material likely to gain widespread exposure. Big and small businesses have grasped the benefits. Therefore, if the goal is to secure attention on a global scale, it must be engaging enough to be irresistible to potential viewers.
Search engine rankings will grow exponentially with video marketing. It’s so much easier when you’re using video versus text. When you create videos to market your products, you have a head and shoulders advantage over everyone else. The primary cause at the back of this is Google’s newest feature, which is known as the “Universal Search”.
This also assures you Google’s search results will be sure to contain videos from now and into the future. If you search for “cell phones’ your search results will have articles, yes, but it will also have video results that will appear on the first page of results on Google. In spite of this, there aren’t too many online marketers who are using the advantages videos give to be able to be on the first page results with their site being ranked quite high. So you need to take advantage of this as well. Just placing putting your promotions into a video format puts you strides away from your competitors.
In summary, Internet video marketing is a concept whose time has come, and it will continue to explode in popularity as creative entrepreneurs seek new ways to increase profits. For the best results with this marketing method, you might want to farm out the production of your initial video to an experienced producer, so that you can focus on running your company. Hey Peter,
Never a truer word said.
I have only recently started using video but I can see how much quicker and easier it is than an ebook.
It used to take me about a month to write a good ebook, I can churn a video out in just a few hours.
I for one will be doing more video and audio too.
If the mighty google loves it, so do I, Sally

Hi Sally,
Totally agree and I want to do more video.
Actually I wanted to re-edit this post to include some really interesting statistics and a fascinating “traffic concept” I found today about YouTube. But for some reason whenever I tried to edit I kept losing the post…so I will keep it for a special post.
There is a really clever way to use Youtube to direct hundreds of thousands of people to any site you want EVERY WEEK! No sure about the quality of the traffic but I sure would love to have this number checking out my website every week.
So I will do a later post on this YouTube traffic trick.
I also need to improve my skills at using screen capture software for my own videos – even CamStudio is not easy for me to use just yet….but I’m working on it.

Coming soon Sally
Peter:
I have created a couple of videos but I have yet to post them online.
Video is the way to go and I need to jump on board or get left behind.
My problem is converting the video format from my video camera. It is a Canon and records in a different format that I have to convert in order to upload it. Man what a pain in the butt!
Oh well, I can either complain about it or keep moving forward and do something about it.

Hi Rick,
I have the same problem. My camcorder is a Canon FS100 and although it takes great video, the format is MPEG2.
I can’t use this for internet videos so I have to both convert and compress this format. I use Free Studio, Blaze Media pro but the best is Handbrake at http://handbrake.fr/.
Hope this helps – the conversion process is a bummer so I am going to outsource the whole process in the very near future.

Peter, how’s it going?
Video is so powerful right now it’s unbelievable.
The point that you touched on about the viral nature of video and how people just love to share it is probably the most beneficial of them all.
What Sally says about the speed is a massive factor as well. People that used to use sales letters to sell their products are now all switching to video beacause of the emaotion you can naturally inject into a video that is very hard to implement in your writing. (…and people buy based on emotion, it’s genius…)
Thanks for this post my friend. Will be coming back soon.
Reach new heights,
Nathan

Hi Rufus,
Yes speed is the thing. Credibility and trust can be created so quickly and easily with video just as long as we always say it as it is.
Actually I like to write as it comes naturally to me but I am realise just how powerful and time saving video can be to my marketing strategies

Hi Peter,
I have just started using video myself and am really liking it. The only headache I have is publishing them which took me forever and a day to publish my recent videos. Still don’t know exactly what my problem is but will get it sorted out sooner or later.
There are many benefits to video marketing and it is all the craze at the moment. Thanks for recommending the above site, will have to go check it out. Take care!

Hi Anna,
Let me know if the problem you had was time re publishing your video.
It could be a matter of reformatting or compressing the video.
This was all new to me as well only a few weeks ago – my camcorder is a Canon FS100 that takes really good quality video but the format is MPEG-2. I have to both change to format AND compress the video before a site like YouTube will accept it.
Just a 2 minute video on my camera generates more than 100MB!!!
I have some really good sites and solutions if this is your problem – send me a quick email.

Hi Peter,
I am yet to get my very first video out. I need to get over my camera shy aspect, and then just do it. Once I get my video cam sorted out, I will try and get one out there.
And you are right, the time for video marketing is now, more than ever.

Hi Justin,
The more I learn about marketing online the more I realise we have to cater for all types of preferences…some like to read, others to listen or watch. For me I like to read or watch..then I always take notes of the important points as that’s a habit of mine…if I don’t do this then I either forget to follow up or not put into action the things i have learnt.
Thanks for the comment Justin..appreciated.
